New NeuroVascular Hospitalist Locums Job in Michigan
--Collaborative group of Physician and APPs
--Excellent Benefit Package: Health, dental and vision insurance; long and short term disability; malpractice insurance with tail; 403(b) plan & Flex Plan
--Relocation assistance provided
--Physicians must be Board Certified in their specialty within 5 years of completion of residency
--12-14 on average with six new patient admits per day. There have been peaks to 25 cases per days, but generally others help in large census surges
--Inpatient Service goes from Monday 7 AM through the following Monday 7 AM
+ Neurovascular covers all Neuro patients including stroke Monday 7 AM Friday 5 PM including night call. There is Neuro Resident on nights and on the cases and during the day weekdays, they have a Neurohospitalists Physician Assistant that assists
+ Neurovascular covers on strokes over the weekends form Friday 5 PM Monday 7 AM as their general Neurologist covers all non-stroke call form Friday 5 PM Monday 7AM. Again, with Neuro Resident coverage.
+ There are post call days when off inpatient service
+ Their providers do stroke/general neurology clinic when not on inpatient service but if someone really wants only inpatient, they can accommodate this scheduling.
