NeuroBehavioral Section Chief 30653 2015-12-02T00:00:00-05:00 0001-01-01T00:00:00 Grand Rapids MI Outpatient Clinic The Section Chief responsibilities and performance expectations are set forth in the following categories: * Leadership * Growth * Quality, Safety & Clinical Innovation * Development of People * Patient Service and Perception of Care * Finance * Academic and Faculty Affairs Annual goals. Deliverable will be developed with the Department Chief and/or Division Chief, and success of the Section Chief will be predicated on goal attainment. The position includes approximately 80% to 90% clinical care and 10% to 20% administrative work. The position includes the obligation to serve on one committee of the Group, Department or Division if requested by the Department Chief. Committed to develop a clinical neuroscience program with coverage of all sub specialties and provide care for a diverse and complex population. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to and proficiency in clinical care, teaching and research. Basic Qualifications: Education - MD/DO Professional Degree, Board Certified in Neurology with a Fellowship in NeuroBehavioral Medicine. Compliance with medical staff credentialing process. Experience: - 1 - 3 years in clinical practice, preferably in a medical group setting, experience in leading project teams and a commitment to develop as a physician leader. Engage in developing a comprehensive dementia program. Licenses: - Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan before/at hire. Preferred Qualifications: Education - Course work in medical management, quality improvement, safety science, data analysis, business administration, change management, negotiation and health law.
